The Systems and Control Centre (in French, Centre Automatique et Systèmes, or CAS) is involved in the control of "systems" of all kind (mechanical, chemical, electrical, ...). The goal is to design "automatic controllers", most often materialized as software, which garantee a suitable dynamic behaviour to the closed loop system. The methods used are related to mathematical and physical sciences (modelling and identification, dynamic simulation, control theory, ...).

The activities of CAS are organized around scientific research, industrial collaborations and teaching.
